The Leader of the Akwa Ibom State
House of Assembly, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has praised the significant capacity
and contributions made by Governor Godswill Akpabio towards the success of the
just concluded mini national convention of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP,
held over the weekend in Abuja.
In a press release sent
to our mail box, Hon Etteh is quoted to have said as the deputy chairman of the
convention planning committee and as chairman and member of some subcommittees;
Governor Akpabio’s imprint was very glaring in the organization of the event.
“You can see the order,
the class, the organization and the level of mobilization.These are vintage
Akwa Ibom and vintage Governor Akpabio’s style. If you have been to Akwa Ibom
and see the way things are run, you can see that our Governor has made great
inputs into what is going on here,” he said.
He said as a core PDP
state, the numbers of “party members mobilized to Abuja by our dear Governor
goes to show that in Akwa Ibom; it is PDP we love; it is PDP we play; it is PDP
we support and it is PDP we will continue to support.”

Akwa ibom State Liaison office, you will see the great level of our love for
our party. It is like a PDP carnival ground and that is possible because we
have a party leader at the state level who loves our party so much. Take a look
at other liaison offices and even Governor’s Lodges in Abuja, you’ll think it
is only Akwa Ibom that is a PDP state. It is because our state party leader is
a great lover of the PDP and a great support of our president”
He urged Akwa Ibom
people and Nigerians to continue to support the party since it is only in so
doing that Nigerians will be guaranteed unity. peace, progress and
development.”
