The recent move by the national body of Coalition for Akwa Ibom Agenda (CAKA) a frontline socio political organization in the State to woo the commissioner for Rural Development Barr Effiong Abia to contest the forthcoming 2015 gubernatorial election in the State has been applauded by the patron of Ibiono Ibom Chapter of the group, engr. Kufre Ekong Inyang who also described the move as a bold step taken in the right direction by the leadership of the group.

Abia to hearken to the clarion call by the group, Engr. Kufre Ekong Inyang said Ibiono Ibom Chapter of CAKA who heartedly aligned with the national body on the choice of Barr. Effiong Abia because of his pedigree, honesty, experience and above all being a brilliant and outstanding student of the “College of Uncommon Transformation” headed by His Excellency Obong Godswill Akpabio, who deem it fit with the ruling party in the State to zone the 2015 governorship position to Eket Senatorial District.
