It was a night of awards and recognition to entertainers in Etinan LGA tagged Etinan entertainers’ awards nite 2014. The event as hosted, planned and executed by a group called Etinan entertainers crew which we learnt is an umbrella body for all entertainers in Etinan LGA ranging from actors actresses (indeed film makers), musicians, dancers, comedians etc.
The event was hosted at Etinan current house, Isemin road, Etinan from the hours of 6pm to 3am on Friday, 14th February through Saturday 15th February 2014. The event had MC one side as the anchor of the event, assisted by MC Ashano.
The event had in attendance well over 350 persons including musicians fathers, mothers of the group, dancers, comedians, film makers from in an outside of Etinan Local Government Area. The event had a well packaged handful of presentations/performances ranging from music dance comedy with the awards presentations as the highpoint of the night.
The awards were presented in 3 categories viz; awards of Excellence awards of recognition and the Etinan entertainers awards 2014. Among the awardees were:-

Inimfon Udofia -Best dancer of the year
According to the acting director of the group of entertainers, the award nite is billed to be hosted every year and they request the general public, entertainers especially indigenes of etinan to join hands with the crew to acknowledge, recognising reward and uplift entertainers and entertainment in Etinan LGA.
