It was a glorious movement of reward for hard work, consistency, excellent professionalism, commendable administrative acumen, faithfulness and total loyalty to government and constituted authorities for the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Deacon Aniekan Umanah and the pragmatic Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr Emman Asanga, when the executives and members of the League of Veteran Journalists in the State, led by the State Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Esifa honoured the duo as Senior Advocate of Responsible Journalism [SARJ(I)] and Most Media Friendly Perm. Sect. (I) with Excellence/Merit Awards.
