In a letter to all broadcast houses dated January 7, 2015, the NBC (Nigerian Broadcasting Commission) has ordered that the song ‘Shoki’ remix by Lil Kesh featuring Olamide and Davido be played only during watershed periods between 10pm and 5am.
Though the song has been in circulation for months, the statement according to the NBC states that the song: ‘contains some connotations of foul impressions that could corrupt the sensibilities of the impressionable underage.’
