Ekpeyong Etim loses mum, Planning Committee set date for burial

Former House Leader, Nsit Atai Legislative Council, Elder (Hon.) Ekpeyong Daniel Etim has lost his mother to death.  Hon. Ekpeyong who represented Ward 5 as Councillor and headed the Committee on Financial and General Purpose, 2007 – 2011, explained that his mother was slightly ill but after administering treatment, the cold hands of death still snatched her away on the third day, 10th of September, 2015.
The mother, Late Deaconess Nkoyo Daniel Etim who was also known as Adiaha Udosen Akpan Nwa was a very humble, friendly and a counselor who impacted positively on everyone.

Hon. Ekpeyong, the first son of the late Deaconess said he will mostly miss her wise counsel especially since he lost his father when he was just a boy.
Late Adiaha Udosen Akpan Nwa died a devout Christian member of World Sanctified Mission Church in Ikot Asua. She was married to Late Mr. Daniel Okon Etim of Ikot Asua in Nsit Atai and the union was blessed with seven surviving children including the Nsit Atai political motivator to mourn her demise.
The planning committee of the burial has set a 2-day programme of events spanning 19th-20th of February, 2016 while the 15th of same month is set for opening of mourning house, all to take place at Nsit Atai Local Government Area.
Dignitaries expected at the epic burial include; Otuekong Raphael Bassey, Obong Sunny Elijah, Otuekong Uduak Ekpeowo, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Obot, Elder Ubong Obot (Ubotex), Hon. John Harry, Hon. Lawrence Orok Udosen including Clergy men.
