Youths of Esit Eket Local Government Area
have reaffirmed their support to Governor Udom Emmanuel saying that the state Chief
executive is a leader that is on point.
Speaking through Akan Etteudo the youth
leader of the PDP in the Local Government, they reasoned that the appointment
of Imoh Udobia to lead the State Secondary Schools Board and Barr. Dan Abia
(Jnr) into the Judiciary Service Commission is an indication of the total
commitment and sense of duty the governor has for Akwa Ibom people.
Akan Etteudo described the duo of Imo
Udobia and Dan Abia, (Jnr) as leaders of Esit Eket that will justify the
confidence Governor Emmanuel has on them.
He extended an appreciation to the
political leader of Esit Eket LGA Elder Benji Udobia whom he described as a
leader with first class knowledge on political inclusiveness and integration. In
his words “we the youths of Esit Eket wish to express our profound gratitude to
our political leader Elder Benjamin Udobia for his maturity and leadership
style in our local government area. It is this noble style of his that has led
to the stability that the local government is witnessing today.
“We are aware of his lofty contributions
towards the success of Udom’s administration and also his efforts in ensuring
that Esit Eket contributes to the success story of this administration. His
efforts have led to the empowerment of many Esit Eket sons and daughters.
Therefore this recent appointment of Imoh Udobia and Dan Abia (Jnr) are credits
to his name”.
Speaking further, the PDP youth leader
maintained that with the antecedents of Imo Udobia the Governor has given the right sword to the
right man. He said Imoh Udobia is a name that is synonymous with hard work,
qualitative leaders and effective service delivery and therefore the Akwa Ibom
State secondary schools system is in for good times as transformation awaits
them for good.
Akpan Etteudo stressed that given the
antecedents of Mr. Imoh Udobia in public service governor Emmanuel’s dream for
Akwa Ibom secondary schools shall be achieved wholesale.
On Barr Dan Abia Jnr, the PDP youth leader
said, the former House of
Representatives member is a creative and wonderful person who fits perfectly
into the commission he has been so appointed to serve.
He said Esit Eket youths are happy with the
appointments and shall ensure that they support Udom’s administration with all
their might.
