PDP  Stakeholders hail  Ikot Abasi  Lawmaker …Back him for second term

Moved by what they describe as superlative and uncommon performance in the state legislature, elders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ikot Abasi, say they will leave no stone unturned in returning Hon Uduak Odudoh to  the hallowed chambers in 2019.

Chaiman  of PDP elders forum in the area, Otuekong  Atako Ukporo,  dropped  the hint  during  a recent condolence visit by the lawmaker to a former  chairman of  Ikot Abasi, Barr. Uwem  Ekanem  over the demise of  his elder brother in the ancient city of Essene.

According to the former state officer  of the  PDP, Uduak  has  performed  creditably  well  and  a good first  term  deserves a  second. Ukporo  maintained  that  Odudoh has made them proud and expressed optimism that the former councilor will do even better if given the chance.
He sued for continued support  to him , the PDP, and  the state government at large even as he urged the lawmaker to remain generous, humble and  close to the  grassroots  in order to enjoy their continued support.

Responding,  Odudoh  thanked the elders and  stakeholders  for  their support, compliments  and commendations and  promised to justify  the trust and  love they  have for him. He disclosed that he will soon unfold his lofty plans and development  as well as  empowerment  scheme for the state constituency. 

Again, he promised to flood the area with life- touching projects and capacity building programmes. He advised the youths in strong terms to respect their elders and all constituted authorities, to desist  from , cultism, thuggery and every kind of anti social vices. 

He was accompanied on the trip by his colleaques  ,They were  Mssrs .-Aniekan Bassey, Uruan, Aniekan Uko-Ibesikpo Asutan, Monday Eyo-Uyo, Mark Esset- Nsit Atai  state constituencies  respectively. Others were transition committee members from Eastern Obolo and Ikot Abasi, Mssrs. Ubong Uquang  and Okomkpo Okomkpo, chapter and ward officers of the PDP from the two local governments, present and past political office holders from the two local governments inter alia.
