Youth Leader donates roofing materials to Church in Nsit Atai

A frontline youth activist in Nsit Atai, Elder Nduke-Abasi Davis last Sunday donated roofing materials to the Sanctified Mount Zion Church, Ibedu Assembly in Nsit Atai Local Government Area of the state.

Elder Davis, the youth President of Ikot Nkpene in Nsit Atai made the donation of roofing materials for the roofing of the church on Sunday when he attended the church service. 

According to Davis, the donation was part of his appreciation to God for His unlimited blessings in his life and that of his family members, as well as his contribution to promote God’s work. 

He noted that the good work of the founder of the church, Bishop Etukidem whom according to him was a patriotic indigene of the area cannot be let to the grave, and therefore commended the leadership of the church for sustaining the good work of Bishop Etukidem whom according to him, had a vision for a united and greater Nsit Atai.


He stressed that apart from donating the roofing materials, that he will equally monitored the work till it completion.

He commended the sterling qualities and inclusive leadership style of the state Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel whom he described as a financial manager, and called on the youths and the entire people of Nsit Atai to continuously support the governor to succeed.

Elder Ndu Davis who doubles as the Chapter Officer of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) equally used the opportunity to thank God for the leaders in Nsit Atai Local Government Area including the Member Representing Nsit Atai State Constituency  in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Mark Esset; the Transition Chairman of Nsit Atai, Otuekong Uduak Ekpeowo; the Commissioner for Economic Development, Labour and Manpower Planning, Prince Idorenyin Udoh and the Political Leader of Nsit Atai, Otuekong Raphael Bassey amongst others. He prayed God to continue to grant them blessing and wisdom as to lead the people of the area to a greater height.

He expressed gratitude to his wife, Mrs Esther Akpan and the family of his father Inlaw, Engr. (Pastor) Bassey Iniese for their support and cooperation to him, praying God to bless and sustain their lives.

While speaking, Elder Davis charged the youths and the entire people of the area to take advantage of the golden opportunity given to them by the Federal Government by participating in the ongoing Voters’ Card and National ID card registrations as to be counted and fully participate during the upcoming 2019 election in the state.

He appealed to the Traditional Rulers, Clergies and Youth leaders from the respective villages to sensitize their people on the ongoing exercise.

Earlier, during the church service, the Resident Pastor of the Church, Pastor Raphael Effiong while preaching on the topic ‘Seek First The Significant Things’ admonished Christians to have faith in God, that nothing God cannot do for anyone who work in the path of righteousness. He pointed out that the most significant things in life is seeking first the kingdom of God.

Speaking immediately after the church service, the PDP Chapter Deputy Chairman, Mr. Cyril Bassey commended the effort of Elder Nduke-Abasi Davis for contributing his quota to the development and promoting of God’s work, and urged Christians to emulate him.

Also speaking were the PDP Ward Chairman of Ward 7, Mr. Akpainyie Akpainyie, former political office holders amongst others who appreciate him for the gesture and prayed for more blessing upon his life.
