Gov. Udom Emmanuel declared wanted by PDP Neighborhood Volunteers

As the 2019 general elections is fast approaching, groups, organizations and even individuals have roll out their drums in support of His Excellency Deacon Udom Emmanuel, a man whom they believed he has lived up to expectations and has deserved another opportunity to continue his good works and complete his numerous live touching projects for the good people of Akwa Ibom State.

The latest declaration of support is coming from a socio-political group, PDP Neighborhood Volunteers, Akwa Ibom State. 

The group has declared undiluted support for the second term ambition of the governor, citing his superior performances in just almost three years in office. 

According to the leader of the group, Mr. Ekan Collins while briefing newsmen in Uyo shortly after the inauguration of the group in Etinan, he said that the group is a statewide group basically for the Udom Emmanuel 2019 project. 

According to him, the group shall be inaugurated in all the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State, adding that Etinan Local Government Chapter which is the mother chapter has just been inaugurated with 11 co-ordinators representing all the 11 wards in the area.

He explained that the ward co-ordinators of the group will go round the villages to talk about PDP and governor Udom Emmanuel, enlighten and encourage people to go and register and get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). 

Mr. Collins further exposed plans by the group to empower, support and assist people in villages, wards and even in the local government areas. 

He further stated that the group will go into the communities to encourage and enlighten people to carry out environmental sanitation. 

Enumerating the live touching projects of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, the group leader, Ekan Collins mentioned the construction and commissioning of the State Secretariat Annex, Udo Udoma Avenue; revamping of Peacock Paints Industry at Ikot Ekan, Etinan; Pencil and Toothpicks Factory at Ekom Iman, Etinan; Akwa Prime Hatchery and Poultry; Electric Meter Factory at Onna LGA., Road networks, renovation of the general hospital, Etinan, Syringe Factory in Onna LGA.; Health Care Service delivery, skill acquisition training programs for youths, empowerment of youths and women across the state just to mention but a few.
